1.1 This specification covers electrical insulating tape consisting of a polyester plastic film coated on one side with a pressure-sensitive adhesive.

1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parenthesis are provided for information only.

Note 1 – This standard and IEC 60454–3–2 and –3 are similar but not equivalent in all details.
