1.1 This specification covers fittings intended for general corrosion-resisting and elevated-temperature services, factory made from unalloyed titanium and titanium alloys. The term welding fittings applies to butt-welding parts such as 45&deg and 90&deg elbows, 180&deg returns, caps, tees, reducers, lap-joint stub ends, and other types.
